Tyra Banks Sues Netflix Over Documentary Editing Claims
Model and TV host Tyra Banks filed a defamation lawsuit against Netflix, alleging the streaming service edited her interview to falsely suggest she covered up sexual assault.

Tyra Banks has filed a defamation lawsuit against Netflix, claiming the streaming platform deliberately edited her interview to create a false impression about her handling of sexual assault allegations.
The lawsuit centers on Banks' appearance in a Netflix documentary where she alleges the company manipulated her interview footage. According to the complaint, the editing was done in a way that suggested Banks ignored or covered up instances of sexual assault related to her modeling competition show "America's Next Top Model."
Banks, who served as host and executive producer of "America's Next Top Model" from 2003 to 2015, claims the edited interview misrepresented her statements and damaged her reputation. The show featured aspiring models competing for modeling contracts and other prizes.
The defamation suit represents Banks' effort to address what she views as mischaracterization of her responses during the documentary interview. Netflix has not yet publicly responded to the lawsuit.
The case adds to a growing number of high-profile defamation disputes involving media companies and public figures over editorial choices and content presentation.
