The Metropolitan Police in London said Friday they are searching for a man who made antisemitic threats in a video that circulated online. Separately in New York, prosecutors announced the arrest of a man allegedly planning to attack a Manhattan synagogue. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch described the plot as targeting the heart of New York's Jewish community. According to CBS News, the suspect is Iraqi and prosecutors claim he sought retaliation for U.S. and Israeli actions regarding Iran.

The New York case appears to be part of a broader investigation into alleged terror plots targeting Jewish institutions across multiple states, including California and Arizona, according to reports. Prosecutors indicated the suspect may have connections to other international incidents.
