New York City police have released body-worn camera footage of officers shooting and killing a man who attacked three people with a machete at a Grand Central subway station last month.

The incident occurred when the suspect, identified as Griffin, wounded three passengers in the subway station while wielding a machete. Police responded to reports of the attack and encountered the armed suspect.

According to the bodycam footage, Griffin made verbal statements before approaching Officer Giuffre. The officer then fired two shots at the suspect, who fell to the ground.
