A small Kansas town has opened its first public library after receiving an unexpected multimillion-dollar donation from an anonymous couple.

Frontenac, a community of approximately 3,000 residents, had lacked a public library until the mysterious gift arrived. The town's city administrator received the $4.6 million donation from a couple whose final wish was to see a library established in the community.
