President Donald Trump suggested Wednesday that a UFC arena currently under construction on the White House South Lawn could become a permanent fixture.

In a video posted on his official TikTok account Tuesday, Trump said he was considering keeping the structure indefinitely. "I'm looking at it and maybe we'll never ever take it down," the president stated in the video.

The arena is being constructed to host the UFC's Freedom 250 fight card scheduled for June 14. The temporary structure represents an unusual addition to the historic White House grounds, which typically host diplomatic events and official ceremonies.

According to Trump's comments in the video, he compared the potential permanent installation to the Eiffel Tower, though he did not elaborate on the comparison or provide specific details about how a permanent arena would function.

The UFC event marks the first time mixed martial arts fights will be held on White House grounds. The president has been a longtime supporter of UFC and has appeared at numerous events over the years.
