A 30-year-old woman died after being shot outside a bar in Sheffield, England, with three people taken into custody in connection with the incident. The woman was found with serious injuries early Monday morning, according to local authorities.

Separately, violent incidents occurred across New York City. A man was fatally shot while washing clothes with his wife at a laundromat, according to police sources. During that incident, a 68-year-old bystander was accidentally shot in the foot.

Another fatal shooting took place near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, police reported. The incident occurred within minutes of a separate stabbing death on the other side of the Bronx.
