DHS Issues Alert for Comedian Who Created Parody Immigration Tip Website
Department of Homeland Security circulated nationwide alert for Ben Palmer, whose fake ICE tip site and prank calls went viral on social media.

The Department of Homeland Security has issued a "Be on the Lookout" alert to law enforcement agencies across the United States targeting a comedian who created a satirical immigration enforcement website.
Ben Palmer, a Nashville-based standup comedian and prankster, became the subject of the nationwide alert after his parody anti-immigration tip website gained widespread attention on social media platforms.
Palmer's project involved creating a fake website that appeared to allow users to report immigrants to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He then recorded phone calls with members of the public who believed they were actually providing tips to ICE officials.
The comedian's videos of these interactions, which revealed the callers' actual intentions and statements, have accumulated millions of views on TikTok and YouTube. The content appears to have been designed as social commentary on immigration enforcement and public attitudes toward reporting immigrants.
The DHS alert, known as a "Bolo," represents an official notification distributed to law enforcement agencies to be aware of an individual's activities. Such alerts are typically used to share information about people of interest in ongoing investigations or security matters.
