Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the arrest of 266 individuals during recent undercover operations targeting prostitution and child sex predators in Florida.

Among those arrested was a 68-year-old man who performs as Santa Claus, who allegedly offered $200 to have sex with what he believed was a 13-year-old girl during the undercover operation. The man was taken into custody as part of the child predator portion of the sting.

Sheriff Judd highlighted several notable arrests from the broader operation, including a participant from the January 6, 2021 Capitol incident, an individual described as an illegal immigrant, and a social media influencer with MAGA affiliations.

The operations appear to have included separate components targeting both prostitution-related offenses and individuals seeking to exploit minors. Law enforcement officers conducted undercover work to identify and arrest suspects.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office has not yet released the full list of charges or additional details about the timeline of the operations. Sheriff Judd is known for conducting high-profile stings and publicly announcing arrests in such cases.
