A passenger was removed from a Malaysia Airlines flight after allegedly sexually assaulting a flight attendant prior to departure.

The incident occurred as the aircraft was preparing to depart for Beijing Daxing International Airport. According to reports, the passenger, understood to be a Chinese national, allegedly touched a female cabin crew member inappropriately.

The alleged assault involved the passenger tapping the flight attendant's buttocks while the plane was still on the ground preparing for takeoff.

Following the incident, the passenger was removed from the aircraft before departure. Malaysia Airlines has not immediately responded to requests for comment regarding the incident or what additional measures were taken.

The flight's departure status and any potential delays resulting from the incident were not immediately known. It remains unclear whether local authorities were contacted or if charges will be filed in connection with the alleged assault.
