Second Arrest Made in Brooklyn Shooting Death of Seven-Month-Old Baby
Police arrested a second suspect in connection with a stray bullet shooting that killed an infant and wounded her brother in Brooklyn.

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a Brooklyn shooting that killed a seven-month-old baby and wounded her brother, authorities announced Friday.
Matthew Rodriguez, 18, was apprehended in Pennsylvania by New York Police Department detectives working with U.S. Marshals, according to investigators. The arrest came two days after the Wednesday shooting that killed infant Kaori Patterson-Moore.
The shooting occurred on a Brooklyn street when stray bullets struck the seven-month-old baby and grazed her brother. Police said the children were not the intended targets of the gunfire.
Two suspects are now in custody in connection with the case. One has been charged with murder, attempted murder and assault, though specific charges against Rodriguez were not immediately detailed by authorities.
NYPD Commissioner described the incident as "a tragedy that truly shocks the conscience," highlighting the random nature of the violence that claimed the infant's life.
