Police investigating Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Lord Mandelson have sought advice from prosecutors regarding their inquiries into both men's links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Thames Valley Police, which arrested Andrew over alleged misconduct in public office in February, met with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) last month to discuss the investigation. The CPS is providing what officials describe as 'investigative advice' to police conducting the inquiries.

The police investigations center on both Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Lord Mandelson's connections to Jeffrey Epstein, the financier who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
