OneTaste founder sentenced to 9 years for forced labor conspiracy
Nicole Daedone, co-founder of wellness company OneTaste Inc, received nine-year prison sentence for exploiting vulnerable women in forced labor scheme.

Nicole Daedone, co-founder of OneTaste Inc, was sentenced to nine years in federal prison for orchestrating a forced labor conspiracy that exploited vulnerable women, federal prosecutors announced.
The company promoted "orgasmic meditation" as part of its wellness programs. According to court proceedings, Daedone's scheme involved coercing women into performing sex acts with the company's clients and investors.
A federal judge determined that the conspiracy specifically targeted vulnerable women, exploiting their circumstances for the benefit of OneTaste's business operations. The sentence reflects the severity of the exploitation that occurred within the organization.
In addition to the prison term, Daedone was ordered to forfeit $12 million. Seven victims in the case were awarded approximately $890,000 in restitution as part of the sentencing.
OneTaste Inc operated as a wellness company that claimed its practices could provide various benefits to participants. The company had gained attention in wellness circles before the criminal charges were filed against its leadership.
