Kwan Noble Trezvant, 27, has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing attack Thursday in Olathe, Kansas, that left a 38-year-old woman critically injured.

Olathe Police Department responded to reports of an armed disturbance at a local park. The victim, identified in court documents as Jamie Trumpp, sustained critical injuries in the attack and required emergency medical treatment.

Police described the incident as an unprovoked attack that occurred during daylight hours. Trezvant was arrested at the scene following the reported disturbance.
