A 23-year-old man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities discovered approximately 75 pounds of marijuana in his checked luggage.

Harrison Tiernan was detained by airport security personnel who found 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing what authorities described as "green leafy" substances in two bags he had checked for a British Airways flight.

The discovery was made during routine baggage screening procedures at the airport. The packages were professionally vacuum-sealed, suggesting an organized trafficking operation rather than personal use quantities.

Tiernan now faces federal drug trafficking charges related to the attempted transportation of controlled substances across state or international borders. The case has been turned over to federal authorities for prosecution.
