A Florida man was subdued by a teenage car wash employee after allegedly threatening workers with an ax in Marion County, according to sheriff's office video released this week.

The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Bryce Thayer, approached car wash workers including 18-year-old Leodan Pino and his 16-year-old brother while reportedly wielding an ax, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Video from the incident shows Pino, who has MMA training and is a military recruit, using a takedown technique to subdue Thayer. The 18-year-old was reportedly protecting his younger brother during the confrontation.
