A 37-year-old San Francisco man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing attack in the city's Chinatown neighborhood, according to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.

Jian Feng Huang allegedly carried out the unprovoked attack on March 5 near the intersection of Stockton and Sacramento streets. The incident left the victim with serious injuries in the busy neighborhood.

According to prosecutors, the attack appeared to be random and without provocation. The victim was found bleeding at the scene following the assault.
