Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-Mont.) assisted Capitol Police officers in removing a protester who disrupted a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Wednesday afternoon.

Video footage of the incident shows Sheehy helping multiple officers physically remove the individual from the hearing room. The protester, identified as Brian McGinnis, a former Marine sergeant, was wearing a U.S. Marine Corps uniform during the disruption.

McGinnis interrupted the hearing to voice objections to U.S. and Israeli military actions. Video shows him resisting removal by the Capitol Police officers before Sheehy joined the effort to escort him from the room.

According to reports, three Capitol Police officers were allegedly injured during the incident, and the protester appeared to sustain an arm injury while being removed from the hearing room.

The Senate Armed Services Committee hearing continued after the disruption was resolved and McGinnis was removed from the premises.
