Police Federation Chief Executive Arrested on Fraud Charges
Three men including Police Federation of England and Wales CEO Mukund Krishna arrested by City of London Police on suspicion of fraud.

The chief executive of the Police Federation of England and Wales and two other men have been arrested on suspicion of fraud following a corruption investigation.
Mukund Krishna, who heads the organization representing rank-and-file police officers across England and Wales, was detained by the City of London Police on suspicion of fraud by abuse of position. Two other individuals were also arrested in connection with the case.
The arrests were made following what the City of London Police's corruption unit described as a "significant investigation" into alleged fraudulent activity. The investigation appears to center on allegations of financial wrongdoing within the police union.
The Police Federation of England and Wales represents approximately 130,000 police officers below the rank of superintendent. The organization provides legal representation, negotiates pay and conditions, and advocates for officer welfare.
The City of London Police, which specializes in financial crime investigations, has not released further details about the specific nature of the fraud allegations or the timeline of the alleged offenses. The investigation remains ongoing.
