Three people were killed and 14 others wounded in a shooting at Buford's Backyard Beer Garden in Austin, Texas, early Sunday morning, according to police. The FBI is investigating the incident for potential terrorism connections.

The victims were identified as Savitha Shan, 21, Ryder Harrington, 19, and Jorge Pederson, 30. Pederson, described as a Minnesota-based mixed martial arts fighter, died Monday evening after being on life support following the attack, Austin police announced.

The gunman, identified as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne, opened fire at the bar located on West Sixth Street in the Texas capital. Police officers responded to the scene and fatally shot Diagne, ending the attack.

FBI agents said Sunday they are investigating whether the shooting may be connected to terrorism, though specific details about the potential nexus have not been disclosed. The investigation into possible motives and connections to broader terrorist activities remains ongoing.
